The 102nd PA (from Newton's, then Wheatons, 2nd Division of the 6th Corps) guarded trains at Westminster, MD, during the battle; but on July 3 a detachment of 103 men from this Regiment arrived on the battlefield, escorting a supply column.
The 84th PA (Humphreys's 2nd Division of the 3rd Corps), Battery M of the 1st CT Heavy Artillery (from the 2nd Volunteer Artillery Brigade), the 2nd Brigade of the 2nd Cavalry Division, and Battery C of the 3rd US Artillery (from the 3rd Cavalry Division) guarded trains at Westminster during the battle.
Battery B of the 1st CT Heavy Artillery (see above) was at Taneytown, MD, during the battle.
